Has anyone ever fitted the gen6 celica seats in a mini, i have been looking at some today and have took the plunge and brought some, they should be here by the end of next week, i was wondering if it is an easy mod to do or is it hard, i will get a mate to weld me some brackets i think to fit them

If they are low and narrow, and the runners fit directly to the seat base (rather than raised up) then I have found that it's generally easy to fit seats.

The problem comes if you get something like a Punto seat that sits very high.

ye they are vey low, they do sit directly onto the runners aswell, i was planning on using the runnrs and making up a small frame to bolt into the front standard mini mounts then directly into the floor at the rear, the back of the seat folds forward rather than the whole thing lift up so rear access wont be a problem.
