As above, do the two carbs have major differences? Can a Turbo HIF 44 be used on a 998? Needs Mods?

Thanks
Jeremy

the only major differences are when you come to use it on a turbo motor, they'll both function the same on a nat asp motor but the turbo version doesn't have a fuel overflow outlet.

either way both are too big really for a nat asp 998.

I agree with Turbo Nick on this one. Ive found the hif38 will happily supply fuel till around 70hp.

Turbo carbs do have a fuel vent (at least mine does), with a solenoid vent valve. They don't have a crankcase ventilation connection, and the accelerator cable linkage will be different to your Mini's - get the abutment plate if you can.
