Mot - just ran out but can put 12 months ticket on it

Ok bit of a weird one this one. its a Fabweld Mini Moke all steel replica. Based on a1973 mini clubman running gear 1100cc
has a new set of tyres fitted on a refurbished set of 1960s Astrali Alloys. Just had the Bikini type roof made for it . Has been repainted in Screwfixs finest £11.99 metal paint by hand !!
Looks great in pics but remember its brush painted, and has part painted and part vinyl union jack on the bonnet.
Currently sorned and Mot ran out mid sep but I can try and put it through another buts its done around 20 miles since last Mot.
Included in the sale are the last few remains of a 1963 Mini which was taxed and moted until approx may 2012,
The 1973 paperwork is all present and correct and it is correctly registered as an Austin Light Utility and has been allocated a vin number by the dvla and will not need an IVA testing etc as thats alreday been sorted. The built up vehicle reports all show what it was made from and that makes life easier as no sillyness from any mot testers.
However as there are the remains and paperwork for the 1963 mini it may be possible to try and re register the car on those particulars as its a kit car so that could be the new donor vehicle, but you would need to check with dvla . The advantage of that means it would be tax exempt and of course still has mot and tax on it till next year. you would need to check what to do as there is a points system to see if you could retain those details or not.
Genuine Mini Mokes now fetch well in excess of £10000 and ive seen other steel replicas needing restoration fetching £2500 , but
ive bought another old toy so space at a premium.
