Hello
I have a single HS2 Carburettor for my 850 engine. The carburettor has been completely rebuilt.

What shoud the initial setting for the throttle and richness adjustment be?

I mean, how many turns for the mixture nut (I think it is 2 full turns open), and how many turns for the throttle adjustment screw? To adjust the throttle screw, I will slacken it right off, and then screw it in till it just touches the cam lever. From this point, how many turns shall i give it?

The same goes with the fast idle screw. I just need a setting that will allow the engine to start and i can adjust properly later.

Thanks
John

The throttle setting is not set by the screw on the cam, that is the fast idle. Set the throttle for normal tickover by the screw that touches the carb body beside the dashpot.
