Connect Solenoid To Relay And Key Start

I have a 1976 mini 1000, I want to wire the key start to the relay, and then to the solenoid,who can help me.

4 pin relay

Don't worry about the descriptions on this diagram its the pins your interested in

Pin 30 Power in, take a feed straight off your solenoid battery terminal

Pin 85 earth, connect to car body somewhere

Pin 87 This goes to were the white/red wire went on your original solenoid

Pin 86 plug the white/red wire off the solenoid onto here.

Is the 87 connect to the small connecter of solenoid (the solenoid has three connect points, one bigger to battery, another one to starter, and one smaller to 87?)
86 connect to?

here's news,the key start has 4 connect points(bat,acc,ing,st)

I'm a little lost why you are putting a relay in ??? The original loom doesn't use a relay.

On your loom I'm assuming you have a loom, there will be a white/red wire that comes off the ignition, this connects to Pin 86

But on a standard loom of your year it would just connect direct to the small spade terminal on the solenoid.
