Hi everyone.
Just purchased a 1992 Mayfair and was wondering if the alarm system inside was original to the car?
All i know is that its a Pirhanna alarm/immobilisor, dont know the model :s. Wanting to know before i insure the car as surely this would bring the premium down slightly?

i dont think many minis came equiped with alarms.

IIRC up until the latter injection mini's, no mini came with an alarm as standard... not in the uk anyway.

Thanks for that. Aftermarket ones do lower the insurance though..stop those pykies from taking her
