I'm looking to get my MK1 1962 Austin Mini trim re-done, as I bought it with this:

My problem is that its so difficult to find the right trim! I'm probably going to go with Newton Commercial, they seem to be the best (unless anyone else has any better suggestions?)

I'm assuming seeing as it is in tartan red, the interior would be fleck and spanish red? Also need some help with whether it should have 2 door handles (interior) or the cables? At the moment it has one of each!

Thanks in advance all!

Yeah, Newton Commercial are very good, I used them to restore my 1978 Pickup. I could not find any other place to compare prices for genuine replacements parts, so I would not say they are overly expensive, but it cost me quite a bit to kit out. Had seats re-trimmed by local seat timmer however.

A 1962 850 should have door pull strings unless it was a Super de Luxe, which had the 997 Cooper door handles.
A tartan red car should have the grey fleck seats, door cards and dash trim with red carpet.
Newton Commercial are the best bet as they have it all correct. In fact my 1973 Innocenti door cards arrived from them today - great quality.
