HI All,
I have owned many Minis over the years from a 1972 1275GT right up to a 2006 JCW ( from Deutchland) I guess thats swearing aound these parts LOL.
Anyway I have been out of the scene for a little while because I got involved with the VW Scene ( another swear word ) I am sure but I am glad to see that there seems to be a bit of a revival of the Classic Mini.
My daughter is just 8 years old and I am already planning to buy a classic Mini for her as I can see that by the time she is old enough to drive they will probably be very scarce indeed and well out of her budget.
I can buy a 1990 Cooper locally, its finished in BRG and has sportspack arches and a few other nice goodies. The guy is after £2000 for it which doesnt seem expensive to me. What do you think??

Hey, welcome to TMF. VW is no swear word as far as I'm concerned
Have you got any more details on the car your looking at? £2k should get you a solid car at the moment.

I am going around to see it later this week, the only other information that I know so far is that is got an MG Metro engine fitted and its just passed its MOT. Apparently bodywork is very good and it has a fiberglass smooth dash. Thats all the info I kow until I go around later in the week.

Hi and welcome!!....As bcjames said you can get some bargains at the moment for that money, I guess it depends a bit on how original a mini you want, they do tend to hold their money better
Try and get some pics of it and post them on here
