Hello All

Just wondering what other make and model wheels fit on the classic Mini? I'm thinking of getting some retro steels. I'm thinking along the lines of MG, Hillman, Triumph etc.

Any idea?

Thanks, Dave :)

the mini pcd is 101. something i think. fordsvauxhalls and vws are 100 and i have seen a few vw rims fitted to minis. i wouldnt recommend fitting 100mm pcd rims but some people have and i have seen them with them on over a number of years now so can't be that bad i spose.

Any wheels will fit with modification... :w00t: However you can fit most 4x100 wheels but i would only recommend it for moving a car around as i dont think it would be very safe on the road.

Minis are 4"x4 along with:
Austin Minor
Austin A35
Chevrolet Monza
Chevrolet Vega
Ginetta G12
Ginetta G4
Hillman Husky
Hillman Imp
MG Midget
Rover Austin Metro
Sunbeam Stiletto
Vauxhall Firenza
Vauxhall Victor
Vauxhall Magnum
Vauxhall Viva

VW, bmw, honda vauxhall ect 4x100
ford, audi, citroen, peugeot ect 4x108

DO NOT attempt to use 100mm PCD wheels - Mini is 4" which is ~ 101.6mm - it would be extreme folly to fit 100mm wheels........

No I won't mate, don't worry. I've been searching about and It seems that Mg Midget wheels fit. Does anyone have any experience fitting 13" Midget steel wheels to a Mini?

No its not 101. something :D it is 4"

Fitting 101mm PCD is not a good idea :( correct sizes are available, and fitted t cars such as MG midgets and sprites and Vauxhall viva's others bu I can't remember any at the moment :)

And then you have to worry about the offset..... we have made some special spacers to cope with fitting Honda wheels to a Mini if you are on Facebook look up "stickyfingers" and his bike engined Mini you may see some pictures of it at the 2011 IMM....
