ok before i start let me just say, i know alot of you dont like bodykits and thats fine, but please dont comment unless you are going to be sensible, and dont go calling me a chav yes im 18 but if i was a chav i would go out and buy a £100 saxo and cut the springs to get it on the ground.

right with that out the way, im doing a project mini im just about to start the engine rebuild but panning ahead for body work,

alot of you might have seen the animal body kit, i like the rear bumper and the sideskirts but not the front bumper, so was planning to use the animal sideskirts, rear bumper and the zeemax body kit front bumper.

do you think these will go ok together? has anyone done it? i will also be using the zeemax roof spoiler.

thanks

Hello,
Regardless of what I, or others think about body kits, you do it your way. It`s your mini and good luck to you.
Just my thoughts.
Cheers

i belive this is the animal bodykit ..?
and if u wonted a zemax front bumper you will have to get the zeemax front arches to as the animal ones are only half arches an the front bumper come up so high and alot of fiberglass and filler to make them blend in nicely

sounds good to be honest, im 17 and my mates called me a chav but i just like the beffy look. i have an Mtech kit its not a over the top mental kit. but its preety smart at the moment its staying but im getting another project and this will be the spares car so the body kit is coming off i will be refurbing it then moving it on for someone else to use, but body kitted minis do look very smart !!!! and goodluck

thanks for all replies

what do you think of the animal body kit from some views i think the front bumper looks ok but over views look aweful so dont know what to think and i think the colour might make a difference.

i fink that hole body kit looks awful sorry mate looks to big and pointless and would need alot of filler and fiberglass and if your new to fiberglassing its hard to get it blended in right and looking good. go for a smaller one like a zeemax or the mtech like mine
(well thats what i fink of the animal one ) :)

I have spent a good amount on it. But I'm not the guy who built it. I'm just continuing the project. As of right now I have a slightly tuned 1275 MPI engine under the hood. Here in the next week or two i will be putting Pro-Motive kit #45 in there. R1 power.

In answer to the body kit, I really dont like the animal body kit it is rather marmite bodykit its the side skirts and front bumper which i dont like, but i havent seen the rear off one but not holding out much hope. but as i said earlier good luck and also its your mini so do what you want (this is just my opinion)
