now I have a stage one manifold, one of the branches of the manifold is very very close to a fuel line, can I heat wrap just this branch of the manifold and leave the others or will I cause trouble???
cheers

Should be fine. But if your going to do one you might as well do the other two, doesn't cost too much.

rubber or metal line? be easier if you just re-route the fuel pipe

Heat wrapping the exhaust will reduce under bonnet temps & improve gas flow. Do the whole manifold though not just 1 branch.

Fuel lines close to the manifold ? is notthemanifolds fault, I suspect that you have fitted an LCB or similar t a car with a mechanical fuel pump in which case you are seriously in danger of a fire at some time in the future :(

Replace with an under boot floor electric pump and a pressure regulator with the necessary pipe work to remove it from danger....

it voids the warranty on maniflow manifolds if you heat wrap them, a mate found out the hard way.

If we sold a stage one tuning kit it would have an electric pump and all the pipe work electrics etc to fit it in to your Mini....... We sell bottom arms with 360 degree boots but it puts the price up ..... and now we notice that more of our competitors are adding a similar device to their bottom arms to protect them.

In a few years time manucturers & suppliers will be held accountable for these type of issues, which is good for the end customer not so good for suppliers who have no policy for fitting instructions etc....

PS.. as you are a trader feel free to enlighten everyone about these systems...... Personally I don't think that you would last long if you tried it and when would you have the time to earn a living ??

Dont'use the stuff they sell for manifold wrapping on a fuel line. You need a proper heat-shield insulator wrap ;)
