So im at a stage where I need to paint the arches and bulkhead of the van, so I can get it back on its wheels to take it to a bodyshop to get painted.
I have access to a friend that has the tools to spray it, however i'm wondering if my garage is to small to paint in? Its also in a built up estate so overspray could become a problem. To overcome this I thought about lining the garage door with plastic sheet, so that the particles couldnt escape from the sides of the door. This then made me think would it become to heavy with airbourne paint inside a closed off garage.
Has anyone done the same and am I just worrying about nothing at all?
Thanks
Matt

Thanks Redhot but even that space looks twice the size of my garage.
How did you deal with the paint particles in the air with the door sealed off does it just settle eventually? I've just got the feeling that when I open the garage door to get out I end up turned next doors silver car bloody yellow or something!!!!!!!!

missed a bit out * as you are only spraying a small part of your car it wont make that much over spray so should be fine in your garage and as long as you can fit the car in the garage and get to other bits u wont painting it will be big anuf

i have a small door to get out off so the overspray just settles but the air born paint drys prity quick the time it would take to get next doors car coverd in paint it would just be like dust if it did get that far
so i shuldnt worry but if if that did happen for some reason and u did get paint on there car u can t-cut the paint off with some polish or just ask them to move there car for an hour or somthing
