God, a Hustler, and a 6 wheeler at that.... aint seen one of them in years.

Way back when something like '85, I remeber a friend making a 4 wheel one of them as a school project, and it had a 1300 (+30) in it. Lets just say.... poo of a flat thing did not even come close to how rapid that was..

Sitting in the back was an experience, just had side facing seats ( well glorified wheel arches ) in the back, and nowt to hang on to

Mind you I remeber he cut up a Clubby GT to make it, which is a little bit sad now

If that stays @ 150, I may have a go at that.

if anyone has got the book 'amazing mini' by peter filby there is a write-up about one of them in it :saywhat:
but it doesn't have the twin axel at the back
aparantly it was supposed to take over from the moke as it had a space frame chassis and WINDOWS!!!!!!!
the outer panels were fiberglass, thats probly why its so square and ugly! :cheese:

Pope-mobile !! lol About as ugly as the scamp but definitely a must-have for any collection. Think they had one at Gaydon, not sure if it's still there !

these hustlers are now becoming very rare! Also, don't knock their looks, I remeber when i bought my first clubman 10 years ago, I was told I had made a mistake as the clubmans were not as desireable as the "normal" mini's! Just look now, 1275gt's and clubmans are some of the most sought after models!

They also did a version which used plywood panels instead of the fibreglass

Talking of the pope mobile... that's exactly what we called his, and green house on wheels..

Didn't 'arf turn some heads...

But would make an ideal Club vehicle, just look at the amount of **** you can get in the back of that, and with the twin subframes the load carrying is almost doubled.

I reckon everyone should chip in and we can make it the tmf project car.

Roof chop!
New interior
Tinted windows lol
6x Starmags
Change headlights

Could make it looking pretty ace!
