My god went on to the scottish forum thought that i went to the wrong place as the were asking about power steering and stuff like that thought BMW had moved in lol.

Yes ive had a look at it, If you look closer it is in a section for the new mini. A lot of classic owners have a new mini as well and instead of going from one forum to another many are now including a new mini page. TMF is a classic forum and i'm not expecting it to have a new mini section. I read this so i can get hints and tips for when i can get a classic again. For any new mini stuff i go to total mini (not mini2.com) for this. but again there is a section for classic owners.
As for your last question i can answer that for you- No its not a "real mini" it the evolution of an immortal classic. The designers were given the challenged to design it to were it would have got to if rover had developed it over the years.
So lets not it gets heated and ends up being closed by the mods and people fall out!

Scottish Mini Forum is a great place...Loads of friendly folk...a lot of whom are on here. Its not as busy a forum as TMF but that can some times be a good thing..They dont seem to constantly ask which oil is best..

Nobody on there has BMW power steering to my knowledge
