Hi guys. I'm thinking about fitting 4 fogs to my mini. I like the arrangement where the 2 in the middle are slightly higher than the outer 2. I'd like a classy traditional chrome look but I do like the angle eyes too.

Questions: somebody else will be fitting etc and I know must be linked to full beam, but will I need bigger battery and alternator?

Will a bar stop them shaking? Do these look nice? whT do they fix to?

What shod I budget for the job lot?

Looking forward to seeing some pics tho!

Cheers

Wipac (spots and fogs) on a bar.

With the bar i have it shakes about like mad, others may be better! Once upon a time i fitted lamp steadies to the middle 2 lamps which improved it greatly (i should do this again).

My bat fits straight to the bumper lip with one hole each side. that is the issue with my vibrating/shaking lights. If you see a "works" styled bar it also fits under the front valance; these cost 90 quid or so.

For reference my set up cost around 65 pounds.

your current battery and alternator are fine. I have got to say i have hardly used mine at all, my dad laughs at the fact i even wired them up!

Got a bar made which bolts onto the back of the grill and then two brackets which come through the bars and then bolted on. Its not easy to decribe so i will get some pictures.
