hi
i am just going to refit the main battery power cable but cant remember how its routed.any idea if it goes though a hole in subframe over driveshaft then under clutch cover and round to starter i cant seem to find any pictures of this.thanks

Up the back of the subby as I remember....the subby can be dropped out without disturbing it.

Best pics I could take - my DSLR is too big to get a good angle under the front and rear subframes without ramps / jack which I dont have :(

Damn it shes getting rusty.

Anywhere you like where it won't chafe or melt, I'm sure I remember cutting off a battery terminal to change a rear subby thou and it could differ at the front depending on which type solenoid is fitted

thanks fot the pictures and info my cable bolts on to startermotor so no seperate solinoid to run to first cant quite make out the route by the photo does it run up the back of front subframe then over the top of clutch cover and down to starter?

Ah i see.

My flatmate has a digital camera that isn't a bigass DSLR, so I will see if he will let me borrow it in the morning when I get back from Halloween festivities :P

I will take photos either way of the engine compartment where the wire lives. Unless someone beats me to it in the mean time :)

Right. These are the best I could do without a ramp + it is a touch wet here in Dundee :(

In the engine bay - the wire near my finger is the one from the battery.. it goes to the starter
