hello, after some tips on a chequer roof decal fitting. i've bought a kit with basic pictorial instructions. it tells me to clean the roof. but do i need to apply the squares dry or wet. thanks.

I'd apply dry if it's cold, if you can get a warm garage then wetter is easier as it's re positional to an extent. If you do it wet in the cold, the glue isn't soft enough to stick the the panel. Just my personal experience, Roofless would be the guy to speak to.

if your in the warn ,fill a squirt bottle up,put a tear drop of fairy liquid in ,little .shake.then squirt the panel and then the back of the sticker,this way you can slide it around to were you want it.once in position,Then you can squeeze out any air bubbles with the spreader you got with the kit.
