We got to c/p really early and was right at the top of the campsite, heard the cars starting so jumped straight in mine but had to wait to merge and then had to dirve to the bottom by which time i was in lane 3!
Definatley better than previous year, great show!

'I was in the second lane next to Mario and Luigi (Never found out their real names) '
When my son heard Mario speak he reckoned that he actually sounded like Mario, so perhaps it was him
I actually heard them speaking in a none Italian accent but shhhh! I didn't tell you ^^

Really? I was pitch next to them and they kept the accents going til 4 pm. Bloody irritating but a fine effort!
This was my first L2b and I loved it as did the missus and my 10 year old. Loved the fella with the loudhaler shouting "slow down" as I hoofed it out the gates!
I don't get why people did the m23 though. Our run down was littered with people watching, taking photos, filming, sitting on chairs, waving flags etc. Why sit on a soulless motorway?

I did and my son followed me in then 4 more arrived. The guy was really pleased.
I hope he's there again next year but a sausage, egg, fried bread and beans will go down a treat (free of course)

What does everybody do with the little metal plaque that came in the packs? I can't think what to do with it.
I put mine on my tool box, collecting them on there as I will never get rid of my tools! :)

Yeh 2 hours was a while, but I thought I'd rather wait that then drive down to brighton with no brake lights and risk getting rear ended or something... stupid brake pedal switch was dodgy, wish it could have just been the fuse or something I could sort myself

Nice to meet alot of you guys. spent most of saturday at c/p chatting to everyone, didnt even have time to eat! Was great, my 3rd year but this was by far the best year weve done and was nice to show the car off since its 2 year rebuild. Agree on the ''making cp more of a show'' too as to be honest by the time your at brighton your drained and me and the g/f spent most of the day on the beach and in the town! both parts were really good though, had my fair share of drinks the night before but still up nice and early!

Thought it was you - right at the end of the day, you drove passed a lanky guy in a pink short sleeve shirt - moi. Have to say the mini looks awesome up close. Shame we didn't exchange how-dos.
