For a proper read you will have to get yourselves a copy ;).

As for the van herself, she's been hibernating over winter on the garage but I can't wait to get her started up and back on the road for the 2014 shows.

Thanks Phil

The inside was difficult, instead of welding the join we left a lip on the new panel and use special panel adhesive to join them, we were then able to clean up inside by rubbing the adhesive smooth before it dried. Then we blended the join on the outside.

It will never be as clean as the original one piece panel but it's the closest we could get.

It's been a while since I've been on here so I guess it's time for a little update.
After a 6 month hibernation through the winter the van is still running fine, a few minor weaks and the usual fixes and re-tighten/lubricate we all know only too well. She's made appearances at quite a few shows this year and we're currently prepping for IMM2014 so if you'd like to see her in the metal feel free to pop over to the MagneTagz trade stand where she'll be on show along with a new accessory, her matching half Mini trailer!
I've been working on it the past few weeks now and it's almost fit for the road (rightly so with only a week and a bit to go!) I'll stick a few pictures of that up once they've uploaded.

It's a saloon half, it was a poo brown 80's mini but I've added the mk1 rear light panels.
Couldn't do this to a van or mk1 in all good concious.
Struggling with the pic as i'm trying to do it on my phone but won't be long

I still have grand ideas of turning the back of a van into a camper pod trailer.

But again couldn't do it to something that could be put back on the road.

Looking forward to seeing the pics should look really cool.
