The previous owner of my mini must have been T-boned because the rear left wheel arch was pushed in and the wheel there is too. it's ever so slightly angled and set back towards the body now. The Tyre was rubbing on the inside of the arch so i hammered it out and undersealed it to stop tyre wear but is this kind of damage fixeable? it seems like they just did a cheap easy fix to get it back on the road and i'd really like to fix it so she tracks straighter and so i can get some fatter wheels for her without it looking silly.

I'm not actually sure what's damaged but i was wondering if anyone else has come across this problem and what the outcome was.

thanks in advance, i'll try get some photos that show what i'm describing and post them asap, she's all garaged up for the night.

might have been hit . then you might need to get it pulled .. then get some mini spares camber /tracking brackets . to re align the back .

how is the tyre wear in that corner ..

Sounds like it may have twisted the rear subframe a bit

try to get a pic of the radius arm / subframe

does the suspension creek / groan ?

is the damper scuffing anything ?

There is no noises comin from anf of the suspension components. the only noise i was getting was the tyre rubbing on the wheel arch which i banged out to stop and it no longer does it. Tyre wear actually seems pretty normal. you got the parts number for the tracking brackets. yep i'll try get some pics this weekend, i don't think the damper is scuffing, no. my general opinion is that it's been repaired but only in the cheapest manner. cheers guys i'll keep you updated

Maybe a pattern part subframe or poor healboard repar/replacement?

would it be worth looking at a new rear subframe and just dealing with it like that or would that be pricey? considering i don't have much in the way of tools or work space it'd probably mean having it done for me
