I have had my car back from the bodyshop for a month or so now after plenty of body work and respray (bill as long as your

arm)! I dont know whether to put the stripes back on the bonnet and pin stripes and laurels. Ive got quite use to the

car without them even although i loved the bonnet stripes before. I know ultimately its down to me just wondered what

anyone else thinks ?

Keep them off. Personal preference of course, but bonnets look better without stripes. 'speshly if you still have your OEW roof as a cooperisation.

Agreed. I think my Cooper will be losing it's stripes too.

another job i can spend more time changing putting Hilo and new cones on

Mine doesn't have them now, but I plan on painting the roof and adding stripes. Just trying to decide between white or light silver.

Forget the stripes they are just so "nineties"!!. The contrasting roof without out the stripes gives a much more classic/retro look and is so much cooler.

this made me chuckle hahaha seems to be some mixed responses seems to be the No stripes winning at the moment still havnt completely made my mind up the stripes and decals are bought so still have the option i suppose they are copy cooper ones any views on those ?

How about you go custom? Talk to roofless about a special design or different kind of stripe? Its always another option. I do like without though, however my cooper had stripes

Right now its Java Green, but down the line I'm thinking on going with a Honalulu Blue with White and Silver Accents. Much like a Detroit Lions Jersey.
