Ho what needle would I best. Be use to start of with to tune my carb currently have a aau it's a bit flat the carb is a 1.5 su head is slightly ported and bigger inlet valves And rim flow exhausts ? Any ideas or tips ?

You can try AAA or even the richer AAM.
Or take it to a rolling road to reprofile the AAU, because the AAU is giving you lean spots, which can be corrected by the RR operator, while the AAM can give rich spots, and those cant be corrected at the RR, resulting in a too rich setup and more money to throw in at the rollers.

ABY is for hotter camshafts which will need a richer top end. You could end up with a too rich mixture above 4.5k rpm and at wide open throttle.
