As I suspected, a bike tach will work for the MPI's 1 click per crank signal. I am using a GSZR400 tach. the only problem is, it goes to 18000 rpm, and my car bounces at 6500 (not that i want to try and get it to 14k simon rwi!)

Thinking harleys are too **** to rev high so must have a low range like car engine, and one pop per crank as there is no way to run 45 degree engines without a pair of coils, crank driven of course!
