Hello, I am new to this forum. I believe my Mini is the only Fiat Abarth 2.0L Twin Cam powered car in the world. It's running a true 160bhp with 157lbs of torque at present. With a big bore exhaust system, some trumpets for the twin 40s, further ignition optimization, and trying different jets e.c.t. to max out the twin 40s. Will increase power to approximately 190bhp with loads more torque.
This is normally aspirated engine, and the power is on from the word go. These engines are well documented, and were used to beat the MK1 & 2 Ford Escorts in the World rallies. You could have a 400bhp non Fiat powered Mini, and this car would still make you look silly. Even so, the Mini Abarth has so much more potential. It is front wheel drive, and lightened to approximately 650kgs.
