Hello guys,

I'd like to start a topic in which people could find some good starting points for ECU/Megajolt ignition maps.
Rules would be: you state your engine main specs (cc, cam, rockers, head, aproximate power) and a table with the ignition mapping.

Something like that :
1380cc, SW5-7, 1.5 rockers, 29mm/37mm head, 97HP

* at idle (below 1250 RPM and load = 0%), advance is automaticaly increase by 0-10º by the ECU to stabilize idle to a set value

I think this would be good for FAQs. I know nothing about Megajolts but I assume they have an uploadable / downloadble file format. I've requested from the admins to allow Excel files to be attached to posts, it would be worth requesting to allow the file format for the megajolt to be allowed to be attached.

weber 45
large bore lcb
1.5 rockers

The advantage of putting an image is that everyone can use it, independently of the hardware. But an additional excel (or megajolt or other) file would be a nice touch. For these kind of formats we can always put a link to a down-loadable file.

FAQ is also a nice idea, maybe we can move the post once it grows to a reasonable content.

Silly me, you can upload zip files. Every pc / mac / unix machine can handle zip files. If all the maps are contained in one zip file then it will make life a lot easier. The maps.zip attached contains a megajolt map for a standard 1275 A series Turbo. Note the megajolt files are simply text files with a different file extension .mjlt instead of .txt.

If someone wants to add a map just add it to the zip file and attach it to the reply....? That way the lastest maps are always in the last post....

Is there a vault purely for mini engine maps? I know autosportlabs have a library but is very generic...

Yup, they do:

But it's a mess - in my opinion.
