Hi,
If this isn't the correct section for this post, could it be moved to the correct place please, I don't want to be a pain.

Well i am staring to plan my mini build and was wondering what people's opinions are on the sequential gearbox and if they had any more information about them.
A question that has come to my mind is, where can you buy one of these gearboxes from and how expensive is it going to be?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers, Alex

Im building a 6 speed one, it gets the thinking cap on but will be worth it in the end.

There is a guy that has developed a linkage that converts H pattern shift into sequential, I think they are in the final stages of testing.

I assume you're not having a reverse gear then matty, or have you accounted for that ?

As for the sequential shifter, I'd like to know who the guy is...

I've also seen that linkage in development, there's a video on YouTube of it I think

Does no one make a 6 speed sequential dog box for a mini?

Interested in the linkage, too, but the fully sequential gearbox is both way too expensive and way to fragile:)

Think I see a problem with the one in the video too... it'll trash 2nd and 3rd gears, at no time is the box in neutral between the gears which will punish the baulk rings and dog teeth, and worse case lock the box.

Would it not be easier to convert an auto gearbox to sequential? I mean it already hasn't got a clutch.
