what model of mini was that origionally fitted to??? or was it one specially made for a celeberatys mini??

Yes they have to pay Paul Smith to use his name and Logo (but since they licensed a certain number of cars from him you shouldn't really have to pay the fee again for a replacement badge) but also that bage contains real gold leaf. They'll only get more expensive as no-one's making any more of them.

It was fitted to a Mini Paul Smith, funnily enough.

There's a little green "UK outline" grille badge to accompany that, I wonder if it's crazily-priced too. :erm:

Be warned Paul Smith owners, dont leave your car unattended when I'm around now I know the badges are a collectors items :w00t: :cheese:

and no Im not like that but can see it happening, just like the Rolls Royce radiator ornaments :nugget:

Blimey! Thats a bit expensive. What if someone pinched it? You'd be kicking yourself for spening that much on a replacement one.

That's the Mini Paul Smith art car, not the Mini Paul Smith special edition that you could actually buy. The art cars were designed by loads of famous people in '96/'97 when they were re-branding and re-launching Mini for the Twin-point. The special edition came later and was only available in Paul Smith Blue in Britain (Japanese market got black and white ones too).
