The company my dad is talking with at work is called ivorsearle! they make new engines he knows they do 998s don't know if they do any other! Search them on google you can find them!

I have an ivor searle remanufactured engine, when i rang up with the serial number etc they had no record of it on their system, which was handy as they had removed the engine number to put their sticker on. They are apparently quite expensive as well.

mine had one in 18 years ago, never went wrong. theyre good, they know what they are doing!

they are really good! we supply both the engines and gearboxes at work but like said above not cheap! but good quality never had one come back!

Had one very bad experince with them and their K-Series engines a few years ago. Four engines in a row faulty, explaining to the customer why we had their car for so long was a bit tricky. An extra valve spring had even made its way into the cam cover of one.

But then to be fair have used them again and have had no troubles.
