hello everyone....

was just wondering where the best place to get some from and if there is a place that does the curley arches that curl round the rear as i brought a set from mini speed and to be honest i was not happy the rear arches didnt curl round and had no chance of fitting my 13"x8" wheels into them... the gel coating had been beaten with a paintbrush or something making it airiate and causing the edging to be a gray colour and bubbly and the finish looked like they had been cut with an angle grinder and there was scratching and some sort of chipping in the gel coating asif they had been droped...

sorry for the essay but right now im really not happy. and im thinking it might be a better idea to just get fibre ones and vinyl wrap them???

thanks se

my mate bought these for a customers car when i worked there a while back, i'll ask him where he got them from. i seem to remember they were very good quality when i was doing a bit of work on it. i must admit i thought they were from minispeed though? will check, maybe they have changed supplier?

I'd go for carbon weezel ones. Just because I've heard he sends them to your unlacquered for you to tailor to your car (this needs doing on all arches) and then when your done, you send them back and he finishes them off and lacquers them so you know they're perfectly finished for your car.

I wouldn't want to be rubbing down and shaping a set of carbon arches that had already been lacquered.

Well.. normally the miglia arches come with fronts that curl around the front of the car slightly and the rears stop short of the rear bumper. This is how the 'miglia arches' are all used on mig's. But for some reason other manufacturers have stopped making the rear arches, and now just supply 2 sets of fronts?! not sure why, as it just looks wrong to me. But if you wanted 2 sets of front arches that could be done.

i have a set of grp miglia's from arc angels and they were suplied as 2 front pairs so wrap around the rear valance, can't say how they look though because i have only offered them up to check the fitting but they seem to fit good... i'd say their c/f ones would be as good.

Glad i saw this thread, was going to pop into the curley workshop and see their carbon arches but after reading about the quality of them may save the petrol and use it to spend on carbon weezel ones! however with the arches is the return postage paid for in the original postage price?

just one more question, i had sportspack arches on my car and have cut the wings to fit 13x7 wheels. do miglia arches fit higher on the wing than sportspack or lower?

cheers!
