also found the boot floor knackered under the tank and the more you grind away it turns out most of the boot floor was buggered . So I spent all day welding the boot up and didn't get any painting prep done.
I'm glad i spotted it though.

But I just drive my car until Somthing falls off. Then I get it fixed. Tee hee.
Im doing a complete Shell rebuild next month, So I will Hunt down and Eliminate ALL the little Rust bunnies!
I know most of my shell is ok. But its starting to bubble underneath the seals In the rear opening window frame area.
SO thats the next task, To Sand it down and hammerite the lot! :tongue:

Ah Hammerite, the solution to everything, why didnt they paint mini's in it when they left the factoryGSMS, My mind is on the exact same track as yours! :tongue:
