dont know if this is the correct place to put this but i couldnt see a non mini related want section aaanyway.


at college we build a project in the second year. but as ours is a bit of a mission we were given an extra year:) we are converting a MGB rubber bumper into a MGB sebring V8.

we are looking for a rover v8 to put into it. it must be a good runner, must be the carb'ed version and have all of the ancillarys on it as well. no gearbox is needed as we are fabricating a mating plate.


as we are a college funds are limited, but not like pittance. but if you could offer any sort of discount you could have your name put on the bumper of the MGB along with other sponsors

have a look on ebay.
worked on a couple of MGB v8s they sound mental.
you can fit a sd1 gearbox onto the back of a rover v8 to give better gearing and 5 speed.same size box but have to change it from cable.

we have been:) thanks i have seen a couple that are good but it looks liek they shoot out of our price range :/ and oh yes they do, we plan on having twin side exhausts so it will sound more than lairy enough!


and as we are doing the build for the course we want a challenge, so we want to make a mating plate for the MG gearbox. we also have a fully equipped machine shop so it shoudnt be too hard!
