This is my video of the 2011 Hay Mini Nationals. It is the 2nd longest running motorsport event in Australia and is an excellent event. It is run by the mini car club of S.A and nearly every single australian mini club atends. Its is run over the long queens birthday weekend. The event comprises of a gathering friday night. Saturday morning includes a parade through the main street of hay followed by a show and shine. Saturday night there is a dinner and the Hays Heroes is drawn. Copius amounts of alchohol is consumed that night. Sunday, the big one a huge motorkhana just out of town where some of australias best motorkhana drivers come out and play. After the khana there is the "hays heroes" and round robin competition where two minis compete in a slalom test side by side. Sunday night is presentation night and alchohol is consumed well into monday morning.
