For a Mini, even with a Weber, the ordinary Facit road pump is quite sufficient.
On my rally Mini with twin H4's I use two of those pumps, piped in parallel and individually switched to ensure 'fail-safe' fuel supply, but even with just one switched on I have no fuel supply problems even when it's doing about 10 to 12 mpg on tests. I mount mine under the rear horizontal seat base inside the left-hand side of the rear sub-frame. I also use a fuel pressure regulator just before the carbs.
A 'hidden' fuel pump isolator switch make the car more secure.
I hope this helps.
