I've currently got my ritz up for sale due to lack of time and money :( i havent really got the confidence to attempt the welding nor the money to get it done. It just sitting on the drive doing nothing so i'd like to see it go to a good home and see the road again. About a year ago i had a little accident where i went into the back of someone, there tow bar took the impact, only happened as i was pulling away. soo there is a little front end damage.

A little bit of information:
  • the engine has roughly 40,000 on the clock.
  • body work wise, it'd idealy need a new front end, i had an accident in the car. causing the front panel to come away from the wings in some places. its not as bad as it sounds
  • the boot floor is a little bit patchy, soo it could do with some mini repairs?
  • front floors are scabby
  • there is a hole on drivers side corner of the rear seat
  • the electrics are a mess
  • the front subframe is a little bent.
  • seats ect are okay, but not perfect
  • hole on the inner sill.
  • atm there is no steering rack nor collum on the car but can put them back on as soon as poss :)
it just needs a nice bit of loving really, and i'd like to see it go to a good home :)

it won't come with the superlights or exhaust sytem/manifold, theres no dashboard or clocks too

Did you used to live in Kent? I swear it was you I bought an amp from years ago. Shame you don't still live there, I'd be very tempted if you were closer.

Hi there pal,

I have been looking for a little project for a while and this seems to tick most of my boxes and best of all you are pretty local!

I do have a few questions though.

I realise the MOT is probably out but when did it expire? Have you ever looked into the MOT history to spot any previous problems which could come up next time the car is MOT'ed?

Is the engine a runner?

When you say the subframe is bent it this just the bar along the front? (I had a similar problem in my old mini)

I am not concerned by a little bit of welding and have been looking for something like this for a while and so am very interested in this!

Thanks!

helo there mate, it hasn't been on the road for about a year now, i havent really got much mot history to be honest either :/ it didn't have much wrong with it when i put it through the last time it was on the road but i had an accident shortly after :/

the engine was a runner but the earth on the boot floor has come attached and as i said the wirings abit of a mess at the moment to.
yes its the front bit, its not too bent to be honest but its still noticable looking down on it.

well you're very welcome to come down and have a look mate :) how local are you?

Thanks for the reply!

If you have the full V5 for the car you can enter your logbook number on this site...

http://motinfo.direc...ory-Request.jsp

I am not overly local to be honest, but i am in the same part of the world as you, I am located in Kent so only about 25 minutes away.

I am very interested in this and am certainly not put off by a little bit of work. i will drop you a PM to discuss things a little further.

Thanks again, Tomm

I don't want to insult you with an offer, the car is worth more than you have it listed for but if you do get sick of it and just need it gone let me know. I would spend 350 on it but would need that to cover my collection too so very cheap really, like I said, I know it's worth more than that. (only reason is I'm over 100 miles away from you so it's and expensive collection!)

It's not really a case of pop down from here haha I'll check how much it's going to cost me to collect it, see if I can get some other stuff while I'm down there etc.
