Here i have up for sale my much loved 1991 Rover Mini Cooper.

It has 12 months MOT and no road tax.

Im going travelling at the end of the month, so ideally i would like the money before i go hence the bargain price of just £2500

As you can tell from the pictures the mini has had alot of time and money put into it.

Some of the modifications that have been made to the mini are as follows (im sure there are many more things i will have missed though)

Body shell:
  • Exposed weave carbon fibre roof has been fitted.
  • Single skin fibreglass Mk1 style boot
  • Fibreglass rear valance that has been smoothed in
  • Full re-spray in kawasaki green.
  • Full steel Mk1 style flip front
  • Mk1 rear lights
  • Turbo bulkhead box
  • Dummy right hand fuel neck
  • Polycarbonate rear window
  • Fibreglass wheel arches
Engine / Suspension:
  • 998 engine is currently fitted (log book still states 1275 though, since i have owned the mini it has had around 8 different engines so its hard to keep DVLA up to date all the time)
  • Full stage 1 kit
  • HIF38 Carb
  • Its running on Megajolt (a mappable ignition ECU, just plug it into your laptop and you can adjust your timing) that was imported from america
  • Alloy radiator
  • Twin Exit DTM stainless steel back box
  • Gaz dampers all round
  • Hi-lows all round
  • Fiesta MK2 front brakes have been fitted with braided hoses (this means that you are able to fit 10" wheels if you wanted to)
  • 13" x 7" rear wheels and 12" x 6" front wheels (both are deep dish minilight wheels, they could do with a re-furb)
Interior:

  • Colour coded fibreglass dashboard
  • Acewell Digital Dash (fuel, rev counter, speed, signal lights, etc... The speed sensor could do with looking at as the speed jumps around a bit)
  • Recaro seats with 3 point harnesses
  • Colour coded steering column
  • 6 Point Safety Devices roll cage
  • Rear seat base and bins have been removed and the rear has been carpeted
Other weight saving:

  • All the sound deading on the car has been removed
  • There is no headlining
  • The heater has been removed
Things that need doing:

  • Ride heights all need adjusting
  • Tracking needs setting
  • I have not had this engine on the rolling road yet, so could do with going on there for a tune up.

Viewing is welcome anytime and im happy to answer any questions you might have, so email me or call me (Tom) on 07739764922.

Cash on collection only, im located at ME13.

Price : £2500

No chance sorry.

I should be selling it for 3500 but i have put it up for 2500 for a quick sale. If it doesnt sell it will just be parked up for the winter.

I dealt with Tom a few years ago a few times and every time was a pleasure! A real nice guy to deal with!

The car is a total steal at its current price, if I had the money i would be on my way now!

Out of interest is this your old BRG one?

You certainly have!

Not at the moment no, although my MR2 is up for sale and i am hoping to return to mini ownership fairly soon. I did not realise you was so local (at ME13) that's pretty much round the corner from me now!

Hopefully ill get to see this again some time soon!

Enjoy your travels buddy!

I saw this at the Ring a couple of years ago. Lovely little car.

I would have been very interested, but not quite enough money, but have fun travelling.
