For sale is my MK1 Morriis Mini restoration project. I bought this very recently as my first project but due to ongoing house problems it has to go.

I am in no way an expert on Minis but this seems like a really good MK1 project however it does have its fair of rust which i have started to deal with.

the front end ie: wings, front panel inner wings need replacing, which i have started to remove.

The floor panels have seen a bit of welding but also there is a fair bit of rust under the rear seats and two holes in both footwells.

The rear end is very good as is the roof, the boot area has a small bit of rust near the battery tray.

Like i said i have started disassembling it and i have removed the interior, windscreens, lights, fuel tank, boot and passenger door.

The door skins seem really good but the bottom trays have rust the bonnet has alot of rust on the bottom edge and the catch has rusted off. the boot is very solid but does have surface rust near the registration plate.

all windows are complete with the channeling and catches

All parts are now boxed.

The subframes as far as i can see have a fair bit of surface rust but i have bought a front and rear Mowog subframes which are complete and painted with polybushes, goodridge hoses, and rear brake drums with good shoes. these are included in the sale

This car is complete apart from front grille and both bumpers. It has the original magic wand gearstick and matching original 850 engine.

Also i have the original Mini passport stating the date of sale, colour (island blue) engine number and chassis number.

it has 3 Duckhams service wallets full which show the history, also 10 Mots.

i have not tried starting it up but it goes into gear fine and in neutral, however the clutch and accelerator cables are seized.

it comes with the original jack and spare wheel.

the keys are present and the V5 is in my name with 4 previous owners.

I'm gutted to sell this as i really wanted to complete this restoration as its such a great car.
