Hi,

I'm looking for someone to make me a spacer for my steering. It will need to be 30mm deep and have a Mountney 6x100mm pcd hole configuration.

I will get other measurements later, but is there anyone here that can help me with this? Apparently no one makes them and I need one to get the wheel to fit on the Viva.

is that the same PCD as on most mini steering wheels?

I turned a adapter on a lathe and tapped two the new PCD for my aftermarket 13" suede steering to fit onto a mini steering wheel boss, if your viva has the same kind of setup this may be an option?
other wise you will need a whole new boss which involves spline cutting etc.

There are a few spacers about, but maybe not in the mountney classic PCD. I don't think I've got any bits of ally suitable but I think I've got some plastic gas pipe that might do. I guess the spacer will go between the wheel & the boss? You could also do a "cut 'n shut" on a pressed steel boss.

Sorry for the wait, forgot all about this.

It's the same PCD as on most aftermarket Mini steering wheels. Astrali, Mountney Classic, Spring Alex etc.

Ethel, yes it will be going between the wheel and the boss. Can you explain what you are thinking with the 'cut 'n shut' solution, not sure I follow.
