got a fibreglass one in my mini, was a pain to fit due to my rollcage dash bar... other than that it was quite simple, just regular trial and and re-trim... riv-nuts in the top rail, 2 brackets hold the bottom outside edges to the cage and 2 more at the floor

cheers mini 93, i can mount to floor with brackets, then under window like you have, but how would you go about the side if you dont have a roll cage? just brackets of the dash bar?

Also how did you go about trimming under the window, that looks the hardest bit..... is it far off?

well, obvously my dash needed to go narrower to get past the cage as its a weld in, but its just a case of holding it infront and taking small cuts off it so you dont go too far, the bit around the screen wasnt too bad, just the fresh air vents... obviously i ditn have too much worry about it i just cut slots, i guess you might be able to fit the original vent parts but would just need a bit more careful trimming. It wasnt far off no, infact its near enough sitting under the rubber
(need to change the cap heads to nice stainless dome head bolts too)

yeah i guess if its not that far off then its just trial and error...
Is the shape ofthe curve under the dash the same shape as the window? so when trimming the shape can just be followed but taking material off?
Also you got any tips on how you cut/ drilled the carbon without damaging it?

Its quite close yes, so you should be able to trim it back to move it in further (iv also got a miglia style bulkhead box behind there so wanted all the space i could get)

Mine being FG im not sure about the carbon, i just used a grinder with a 1mm cutting disk, slitted away, then a normal metal file to smooth out
