About ready to get started putting the mini back together. At the minute i have a bare shell sat on a pallet. I cant fully remember how the brakes, fuel and battery were routed. Its a 91 Neon.

Firstly the brake line - the mini uses the brake split mounted in the engine bay. I presume the line runs down the toe board then into the tabs on the floor. But how does it route into the 3-way split.....up the heel board, along the boot floor then down again to the junction,..... or just straight along under the subby and up to the junction?

Pretty much the same question for the fuel line (I do still have this so should be able to work it out, that is if i can straighten it up a little)

And then the battery cable, i seem to remember this been p-clipped to the front subrame some how. But at the rear is it over the subby down the gap (sub-frame/heel board) then onto the floor...or straight under?

Am i right in thinking these 3 pieces need putting in first before the subframes go in?

Any help would be appreciated.

brake line front to rear goes under the subframe so need to be in before the rear frame. it comes from the t piece on the rear frame aloung under the drivers side of the car using the slips that are spot welded onto the floor of the car. then up the bulkhead round the section the steering rack bolts to with u bolts then upto the compensator on the bulkhead. the fuel pipe runs the same but on the passenger side of the car and comes up the bulhead then goes into rubber pipe onto the fuel pump. the battery cable goes on after the subframe on the rear. goes through the floor then p lipped onto two places on the rear frame (pictures needed on that which i havent got) then runs in a channel under the floor which is welded to the floor and goes in a straight line forward to the front subframe. its then p clipped to the front subframe in two more places ( pictures needed again) then goes up round past the flywheel housing up the front to the starter motor on your model. I have a very poor picture of my rear subby (with the cable attached) after I cut it from the car....

If nobody posts better I'll put it up for you....
