I use Hella H4 headlights in one of my Minis and they are very good. I've also used the big Hella spots on rally cars and my Grandson has the smaller Hella spots on his MPI.They are all top quality and just so much better than Wipac stuff.
For a real result, fit 100 w bulbs, awesome!

The ease of fitting depends on the type of light unit and the type of lamp bar. It shouldn't be difficult.

I haven't fitted auxiliary lights in many years. Back in the day, I had good experiences with both Hella and Cibie. If their quality has remained good I don't think you will be disappointed with either choice.

My rally 'S' has Hella headlights and Cibie Super Oscar driving lights , all with 100 w bulbs. Fantastic on stages in the dark.

Do u mean u can replace ur main lights with cibies. I was just thinking bout gettin new bulbs bt might consider this if u Dnt need to upgrade anything else. Thxs for all help I like the rally look and want to go with that theme and a lot of my driving is country and woody so needed better spots. For me my wipacs just Dnt cut it.

I've tried Wipacs in rallying and, whilst they are better than the originals (they couldn't be worse, could they?) they really are not good enough. I've used both Cibie and Hella to replace the original heads and Cibie Oscars or Super Oscars for the additional lights. If you want a photo of a Mini with that set up PM me and I'll send one.
