Are you sure your Notification Settings are correct? (Click your name at the top right of the board, My Settings and then Notification Options).

If they are, check your Junk folder.

If you're using an AOL e-mail address, you've no chance.

Have you checked your notification settings? (I've just checked your settings and no, you haven't).

Right, I posted this topic before, but found no answer. I had the boxes ticked correctly too. Since changing my email address I get them, so...
My 'hotmail' acount didn't work, but my 'Gmail' acount does?!

Well, hotmail is pretty rubbish.

Whereas Gmail is amazing.

What you have done is ruled out a problem with the board. Did you check you junk folder on hotmail?

Only just seen this, sorry!

Yes, I did check my junk folder. I also tried 'playing' with things several times. In the end I decided the only thing could be my email, seeing as others are getting the notification.

I must say though, now the notifications are working, it's a brilliant function to have. Muchly appreciated

If I were you I'd transfer any exisiting accounts you have anywhere from your hotmail to your gmail account.

A family member had a similar problem, she was receiving brick loads of spam but you couldn't receive an e-mail you wanted to if you tried. It ended up causing her to be locked out of one of her accounts when she forgot the password.

Gmail is dependable and you just don't get spam! :).

The notifications are good! I don't think I could go back to the old forum now, I'd be lost.
