In our part of the world there are 2 important rules..
1) during the winter, regularly wash the salt off that the council spread around, and
2) all year 'round, regulary was the cow poo off that our four legged friend spread around, - eats metal worse than salt!!!

Yeah but wait until the've formed a nice crusty shell so they stay intact in flight and only break up on impact....not that I've ever thrown one ,...honest!

In the UK they still have cow pat throwing competitions and the sport is also practiced in America where it is known
as cow chip throwing they nicked it of us
