i have a 1966 mini i am restoring from the ground up i have pumped the hydrolastic up but there appears to be tiny weaping pin holes in the main steel lines, how do i replace or fix this without pulling the whole car to bits again?, can i replace these with hoses instead of pipes?

I used to have a '66 Mini with hydrolastic. The steel front to rear hydro pipes can be replaced with plastic ones.

Mini Spares sell them.

as above, but if you drain the fluid out you could braze the pin holes up.

I've got hydro and this is something that will probably happen to me. Just for reference, my understanding is that different equipment is required to drain a system than to just do a pump up.

thanks for that i was looking in to maybe using hydraulic line so i could just cut steel lines out and replace with flexable line so i didnt have to take the subframes out?, i have the pump at home to remove fluid and pump the system up again, same piece of gear for both it just has different functions
