A set of 4 Wipac spotlights, same as these but without covers

forgot about these, i might pic these up on the 12th, why do some have 2 wires and some have 1?

The car they were fitted to originally only had 2 spotlights so 2 were wired into the car harness as shown. However, the lights are grounded through the brackets so only actually need one wire (positive) to be connected.
