Ben here!

Im from good old essex.. UK

Bought my self a cheapish mini that doesnt need too much work as its my first car really excited about getting it on the road and attending shows.

I bought a 1992 Mini Cooper 1275 off eBay.
Well i think i have, I just had a look in the haynes manual and apparently i set the engine bay setup of a 1996 onwards mini. Slight issue.

Been having a few electrical problems and struggling to find step by step guides to fixing them. I dont really have a clue on Cars, or electrics would be great to find someone who does. Even better if they are local

Cant wait to get stuck in and start learning the basics.

The car had 11 owners before me and with furthur investigation theyve changed basically everything...

I know it needs a good clean out but i dont have the equipment to do it yet.


The interior looks good from a distance but get up close and you notice its falling apart, the seats are ripped and worn, the dashboard is some temporary cardboard thing and the black paint is peeling off and finally the clocks are getting old and hard to read becuase of the dirt build up.
Ive been told they are all easy and pretty cheap things to fix.

Gonna be a good few hours cleaning that up. Spent 9 hours cleaning mine so far and no where near complete
