Hello once again Minifolk,

I've got me self two sets of bonnet pins from Ebay, and I'm looking for some advice on how to fit them.

One set for the front and one for the rear.

I can't see anyway to fit them easily (or am I being stupid?), I recon I'd need to add some panels and attach them, but I'm not sure.....

Any help would be appreciated.

You need to add a plate to each corner of the engine bay to mount the pins, I would also advise that because the plates will be angled you weld one of the nuts onto the plate as a captive nut on an angle so that the pins sit vertical at the back, and parallel at the front, otherwise you'll find it difficult to actually put the bonnet on...

Ideally you need it so you can lift the back of the bonnet and then slide the front off.. alternatively, forget about the front pins and use the standard bonnet release, so you would then un do the bonnet as if it were hinged then just lift it off from the back ( this is how I have mine )
