sorry to open another topic on coilovers, but i was wondering what lb and length springs other folks have used on their rear coilovers.

i have just removed my protecs to inspect them, and have found the springs are progressive 100/200lb ones and im looking to go softer.

so.... what do you lot use on yours?

You could start at around 65 lb/in and go to 175 lb/in at just before full travel. It is vital to have 'rising rate speings' unless it's only for racing.
Make sure you have suitable bump stops to prevent the springs from Coil-binding' as that is unsafe.
There is a company called 'Coil Springs Limited' in Sheffield who will make custom springs. I've used them and they are really good.
