I've decided to make my Mini my project car but I'm not sure how to start it. I'm thinking of when my mum buys a new house with a garage I'l stick it in there and let the insurance and tax run out and declaire it off the road.
I'm not sure weather to tune the 998cc I've got now, get the 1275GT from the lad I got the car from or get this 1293cc turbo from minispeed http://www.minispeed...ct&id=eng-turbo
I will add more to this thread when I get more time.

Please help on this matter, any help is much appreciated.

is it just the engine that you have to do or is it a full restoration ?

Just the engine, hers what I was going to write last night, this has more detail of what I want to do but I'm not sure how please help:

Right, I've decided that I'm going to make my Mini my project car. I've sort of planed it out, mum buys a new house with garage (god nos when!) and I'l keep the Mini in there. I get my self a cheap run around for the mean time while the work is being done, after I have finnshed the work when ever that may be I'l get rid of the cheap car and get my Impreza

The thing is thou I'm not sure weather to tune my 998cc thats in the car now or contact the lad who I brought it from and see if he still has the 1275GT.
I would of got the GT but had sod all room to put it plus mum didn't want me to have it either.

I want the car to be fast as **** so there will be no I.C.E, I mean whats the point making a fast car when your going to weight it down?

I'm thinking about 140+ BHP but the more I can get without reliabitly problems the better and the faster the better.

Or I may get the ready tuned 1295 turbo thats advertised in the Mini World mag I got today in the post for £2500 I'm not sure.

Please help me on this issue if you can, any help will be greatly appriated.

I've got a name for my project to, Project Bule Thunder! lol I fort of that because its bule and I want it as fast as possible so it sort of makes sense, what do you fink of it?

Also will any of you be able to offer advice and/or help at all when the work starts?

What does "bule" mean? Do you mean blue, or is it something technical that I dont know about!?
