I have just started to rebuild my 1275 using the VMax scart supercharger kit. Was just wondering what ignition timing i should use?

I currently have a Lucas 45D4 Distributor. Any recomendations welcomed.

Thanks

You'll need less advance with boost, the Metty Turbo had a maximum of 18 degrees when on boost.

Surely it will depend on a number of things like the boost your running, cr etc. rule of thumb is -1 deg for every psi of boost.

Stuart at vmax told me they work better with a vacuum advance ( resulting in abit like a programmable map- apparently). Depends what range of advance vacuum diaphram you have on the dizzy.
