is it just me, but what on earth is it all about, when the driver turns the steering wheel to left, the left hand front fog light comes on and vice versa. seems like a really odd idea. which also makes me wonder what the police thtink of it and remember being pulled over as a teenager for having them on and at the time i had a bult gone so it was only one!

i wonder if this feature can be turned off?

very strange feature lol

Are you sure they are fog lights and not driving lights?

popular with mercs, it's called corner-illuminating fog lights

apparently helps light up the corner better

I seem to think its the front fogs that come on. Its been around a good few years now, an ex of mine had it on her 307 cabriolet.

The LED strips, right? Thank the Audi R8 for that one.

As Clarkson puts it,
"Looks like a council house at Christmas".

No, not the LED strips, the lights come on when turning to illuminate to the side so you have better corner visibility. We have them on our Smax, though it is a seperate bulb incorporated into the headlight on our car.

So far it's only proved to be quite distracting when going around corners! It's only a lease car, else I'd be asking for it to be turned off!
